The relationship of parents physical literacy to the physical activity of class 4 students

The aim of this research was to determine the level of physical literacy knowledge of parents, the level of physical activity of grade 4 students, and the relationship between parental physical literacy and the physical activity of grade 4 students at SDN Sungai Andai 4 Banjarmasin. The method used in this research is a non-experimental quantitative method with a correlational research design that examines the relationship between two or more variables. The population and sample in this study were all class IV students at the Sungai Asif 4 Elementary School in Banjarmasin, totaling 104 students divided into 3 classes and all parents of class IV students. The conclusion in this study was that the results of parental literacy knowledge in the "low" category were 45% (47 parents), the level of student physical activity in the "Low" category was 39% (41 students), and Sig. (2-tailed) in The correlation test is (0.01) < (0.05) which means there is a significant relationship between parents' physical literacy (X) and the physical activity of grade 4 students at Sungai Andai 4 Elementary School Banjarmasin (Y).
