Correlation between gross motor skills and fitness on physical activity of students aged 9-10 years at banjarmasin elementary school

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between gross motor skills and fitness on the physical activity of students aged 9-10 years at Banjarmasin Elementary School. The method used in this study is a non-experimental quantitative method with a correlational research design that examines the relationship of two or more variables. The population in this study were all fourth graders of Banjarmasin Public Elementary School, totaling 52 students divided into 3 classes. The sample in this study was taken as many as 30 students who were taken were male students. The conclusion in this study was to obtain results for male students, namely Fcount (4.21) > Ftable (3.32) which means that there is a significant relationship between gross motor skills (X1) and fitness (X2) on the physical activity of students aged 9 -10 years Banjarmasin Public Elementary School (Y).
